What you're getting yourself into

As a Solution Consultant, you’ll play a vital role in our sales team by building meaningful relationships with potential clients and aligning our solutions with their unique needs. Your primary mission will be understanding client challenges, scope-tailored consulting projects, and guiding them through our product offerings. You’ll be a trusted advisor who provides expert guidance on licences, implementation services, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Needs Assessment: Engage with prospects to understand their specific needs, pain points, and objectives. Develop a customised project scope that aligns with their business goals.

Relationship Development: Build and nurture lasting relationships with clients by becoming a strategic partner who they can trust for advice, solutions, and guidance.

Solution Guidance: Offer expert solutions to address client requests, concerns, and issues related to licences, implementation services, and other consulting needs.

Product Expertise: Cultivate a deep understanding of our services and product portfolio to effectively communicate and match clients’ needs with the best solutions we offer.

Sales & Financial Administration: Take ownership of all administrative tasks associated with managing client accounts, including sales documentation and financial records.

Lead Generation: Proactively source and pursue new leads to expand your portfolio and grow our Zendesk service footprint in the market.

Our Role Description Profiles are divided into General Expectations and Specific Expectations.

  • General Expectations: These outline the overall level of responsibility and complexity of the role, from basic support tasks to high-level strategic leadership. This sets a clear baseline for the role’s scope. Each role in the company is linked to one of the seven General Expectations.
  • Specific Expectations: These cover the unique goals, tasks, and outcomes specific to the role, detailing what success looks like for this position.

🗣️ Interview Process:

Our interview process is a fun journey to find the perfect fit.

  1. People & Culture Manager Interview: We’ll assess your alignment with our core values and determine if you’re the right fit for our team! And vice versa, it’s important we are the right company for you too!
  2. Hiring Manager 90-minute Interview: We’ll ensure that the available seat is the perfect match for your skills and aspirations. We will go through a list of Interview questions, there are no right or wrong answers; the aim is to gain a deeper understanding of your experiences. We will cover at least 1 question from each dimension.
  3. Meet the Team: You’ll have the opportunity to connect with your future colleagues, building important relationships.
  4. CEO Meeting: Our CEO will personally meet you to ensure that we’re a match made in customer experience heaven.

Contract proposal: If we believe you are the right person for the right seat we will let you know to take the next steps in creating the contract proposal.

We aim to make the entire interview process enjoyable and engaging!

🚀 Onboarding

This will be the roadmap for the first 3 months:

1st Month

  • Get to know the company, our way of work and tools
  • Get to know our Product Portfolio and ICP
  • Co-Create strategic account management plan & target account list

2nd Month

  • Plan your account outreach & book 2–3 meetings per week
  • Have full knowledge of the Sales tools and processes
  • Know the Zendesk Product and perform a full live demo

3rd Month

  • Create first new/upsell/cross-sell opportunities within the target account list
  • Be operationally autonomous for most of the early-stage sales opportunities 
  • Win your first deal(s)
